
The blocks in this quilt were done with raw-edge applique and thread painting. I love the creativity of picture or landscape quilts.


This memory quilt was made as a wedding gift. Many of the materials came from the bride’s grandparents’ clothes. Her grandmother was also a quilter and some of the fabrics were right out of her stash. The pictures represent the couple’s interests and hobbies.
The embroidered quote in the center block was taken from the couple’s wedding website, “If you take me fishing I’ll make you a sandwich.” And the rest was history.
Until a year later…Baby Brody joined the family this summer.
